Yik Shing Tat as the Drafter of the China National Standard “Lead-free Solders”

In August 2003, Yik Shing Tat had drafted the China National Standard “Lead-free solders” along with Harbin Welding Institute and Harbin Institute of Technology.
 
The National Standard “Lead-free solders” standardized the chemical component, state, testing methods and the requirements of packing, labeling, transporting and storage of lead-free solders. It is applicable to lead-free solders used for connecting components in electrical appliances, transmitters etc.
 
After taking part in the drafting of a National Standard, YST’s research ability was well recognized by China Officials.
